Terms of Service
This Terms of Service & Privacy Policy governs our data practices in connection with your use of CleanCam (the “App”). The App is published by Sweep.
Sweep is an app development company and app publisher. Our apps are available on app stores worldwide. Many apps are free and may be supported by advertising; paid versions without ads may also be offered. If you do not want us to use your data to tailor ads, you may use a non-advertising version where available.
We make the App available subject to these Terms of Use and our End User License Agreement (EULA). Do not use the App if you do not accept these terms. By using the App, you affirmatively accept these Terms of Use.
1. Use of apps
1.1 You agree to use the App only for purposes permitted by (a) these Terms of Use and (b) any applicable law, regulation, or generally accepted practices in the relevant jurisdictions.
1.2 By using the App, you consent to our processing of data as set forth in our Privacy Policy below.
1.3 You agree that Sweep is not responsible or liable for any content accessed from the App or third-party websites. You are solely responsible for your use of the App.
1.4 The App may communicate with our servers to check for updates (bug fixes, patches, enhanced functions, and new versions). By installing the App, you agree to such updates.
1.5 We may stop providing the App (permanently or temporarily) at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
1.6 You may not distribute or send through the App: spam, unsolicited ads, chain mail, bulk duplicate messages, empty or non-substantive messages, disruptive large files, or phishing content.
2. Use license
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of materials on our website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. Under this license you may not modify or copy materials; use them for commercial or public display; reverse engineer software; remove proprietary notices; or mirror materials on another server. This license terminates if you violate these restrictions and may be terminated by Sweep at any time.
3. Disclaimer
Materials are provided “as is”. Sweep disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
4. Limitations
Sweep and its suppliers shall not be liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the materials, including loss of data or profit, even if advised of the possibility of such damage. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; they may not apply to you.
5. Revisions
Materials may include technical or typographical errors. Sweep may change materials at any time without notice but is not obligated to update them.
6. Links
Sweep has not reviewed all linked sites and is not responsible for their contents. Use linked sites at your own risk.
7. Modifications
Sweep may revise these terms at any time without notice. By using this site you agree to the then-current version.
8. Governing law
Any claim relating to our website shall be governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how Sweep (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, communicates, and protects personal information when you use CleanCam (the “App”).
Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:
- Device and usage data — such as device type, operating system, app version, language, and general analytics about how the App is used (for example, to fix bugs and improve performance).
- Account or sign-in data — if you sign in with a third-party service (such as Facebook or Apple), we may receive identifiers and basic profile information permitted by that service and your settings.
- Purchase and subscription data — if you buy in-app products, payment is processed by Apple or Google; we may receive purchase status and subscription identifiers, not your full payment card details.
- Support communications — if you email us, we collect the information you choose to send.
CleanCam is designed to work with photos on your device. We do not upload your photo library to our servers for storage. Deleting photos in the App happens locally on your device (typically via your device’s “Recently Deleted” folder).
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the App.
- To process subscriptions and restore purchases where applicable.
- To respond to support requests.
- To show advertising in free versions of the App, where permitted and subject to your device settings.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and users.
Your privacy rights
- We identify the purposes for collecting information before or at the time of collection.
- We collect and use personal information only to fulfill those purposes or compatible purposes, unless we obtain consent or are required by law.
- We retain personal information only as long as necessary for those purposes.
- We collect information by lawful and fair means, with consent where appropriate.
- Data should be relevant, accurate, complete, and up-to-date for its intended use.
- We protect personal information with reasonable safeguards against loss, theft, and unauthorized access or disclosure.
- We make information about our privacy practices readily available.
How to request deletion of your data
You may request that we delete personal data we hold about you in connection with CleanCam. This section explains how to submit a request and what happens next.
Option 1 — Email us (recommended)
Send a data deletion request to:
support@cleancam.app
Please include:
- Subject line: CleanCam Data Deletion Request
- The email address associated with your App Store / Google Play account or any account used in the App
- If you signed in with Facebook, your Facebook profile name or the email linked to Facebook
- A brief description of your request (for example, “Please delete all personal data you hold about me for CleanCam”)
We will verify your request and respond within 30 days. We may ask for additional information solely to confirm your identity before deleting data.
Option 2 — Remove Facebook Login access
If you connected CleanCam using Facebook Login, you can remove the App’s access at any time:
- Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings
- Go to Apps and Websites (or Business integrations)
- Select CleanCam (or the connected app name)
- Choose Remove / Delete
Removing Facebook access stops future data sharing through Facebook Login. To delete data we may already have stored, please also email us using Option 1 above.
What we delete
When we approve your request, we delete or anonymize personal data we control that is linked to you, such as:
- Account or sign-in identifiers (including Facebook or Apple login IDs, where applicable)
- Analytics or device identifiers associated with your use of the App, where stored by us
- Subscription or purchase records tied to your account, where we are not required to retain them for legal or billing purposes
- Support emails and correspondence related to your request
What we do not delete through this process
- Photos and videos on your phone — these remain on your device unless you delete them in the App or in your device’s photo library. We do not store your camera roll on our servers.
- Data we must keep — we may retain limited information where required by law, for fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes.
- Aggregated or de-identified data — data that can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained for analytics and product improvement.
Confirmation
After we complete deletion, we will email you to confirm. If we cannot fulfill part of your request (for example, because we cannot verify your identity), we will explain why and what you can do next.
We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles. For questions about this policy, contact support@cleancam.app.
